50 Who : 1990

1990 Italy won the Eurovision Song Contest with Insieme : 1992 by oto Cutugno; Manchester United won the FA Cup final after beating Crystal Palace after a replay; Happy Mondays released Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches, Madonna released The Immaculate Collection, Morrissey released Bona Drag, The Pet Shop Boys released Behaviour, George Michael released Listen Without Prejudice Vol l and Madonna released I’m Breathless; The Hunt for Red October, Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles, Back to the Future Part III, Total Recall, Dick Tracy, Dances with Wolves, Edward Scissorhands and The Godfather Part III were released in cinemas.

Released in 1990 by Julian Knott UK was a cassette tape of Doctor Who music by Paddy Kingsland entitled The Corridors of Eternity.

The cassette contained music from Castrovalva and Mawdryn Undead from season 19 and 20 respectively and was basically just some of the musical cues from the respective stories.

This was a cassette only release which was only ever released through mail order, and as a result is quite rare, but much sought after by fans of this early eighties electronica.
