“What were your favourite books last year?”
My favourite book of 2013 was Red or Dead by David Peace. It was a difficult read at first, but it was well worth it in the end so I am glad that I persevered with it.
I also read Bill Shankly’s autobiography, which was also a cracking read.
I also enjoyed the 50th anniversary Doctor Who short story collection.
Sometimes those difficult books turn into a favorite, just like it did for you. So glad you enjoyed it. I hope your reading in 2014 turns into a Happy Reading Year.

I’m going to have to get one of those difficult reads and stick with it this year. I tend to read a lot of fluff and it is starting to get old.
